Overview
History
Before Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur was known as what it is known as today, It was called Sri Garden, and under that name, MUN thrived; standing as one of the oldest clubs in that school, eventually they would go on to hold their first MUN conference in 2005, SGMUN. Proving to be a massive success, SGMUN capitalized on that going on to make SGMUNC an annual tradition, holding a total of 8 consecutive conferences from 2005 – 2013. This tradition would continue despite the rebrand in 2014, when TISKL held its first ever TISKLMUN Conference, drawing in just shy of 200 delegates. Every year after that until 2019 the TISKLMUN Club would hold a conference, with the exception of 2015, totaling to 5 TISKLMUNs, before the year 2020, unfortunately due to Covid-19 and MCO protocols, TISKLMUN was unable to hold a conference for 2020 & 2021, after that the idea of hosting a conference was largely forgotten until now, join us for the revival of TISKLMUNC and make history.
